25 Years of History

The owners, Françoise and Martin, are originally from the Bois-Francs region, from Victoriaville and Warwick. It was free flight that introduced us to the region. Indeed, Mont Yamaska is a favorite spot for paragliding and hang-gliding enthusiasts.

We produce authentic, high-quality wines that are balanced and rich, made from several grape varieties grown on our estate. The grapes are carefully harvested, pressed, and aged to perfection.

Our wines have won more than 25 medals and honors in recent years in numerous Quebec, Canadian, and international competitions.
The site we chose on the western slopes of Mont Yamaska in Quebec, overlooking the Montérégie valley, has enormous potential.

2001

Soil preparation began in 2001, and the first vines were planted in the spring of 2003. In 2005, we had our first harvest, which we fortified and flavored with maple syrup; thus, the Sirocco 2005 was born. In 2006, the harvest was abundant, and we produced five different wines: two whites, one rosé, and two reds.

2005

Construction of the winery began in autumn 2005 and was completed in autumn 2007. It was built at the same time as the house. We respected the English architecture of Rang de la Montagne. The locals used to call this rang the "English rang" because those who lived there were English-speaking. The house and the winery give the impression of having been there for years. Rang de la Montagne is home to a complex of religious buildings that was classified as a historic site in 2004. There is St. Paul's Anglican Church, built in 1822, its cemetery, its rectory, its parish hall, and Abbotsford United Church.
